I try to be happy and there's no place like Atlético

Fernando Torrescouldn't resist expressing his joy when his return to Atlético on loan was made official, quickly taking to social media to voice his delight.
"Going home at last. Thanks to everyone that has made this dream possible. Go Atleti," he tweeted.
Minutes later, in Dubai, the striker offered his first statements to the press as an Atlético player again: "I try to be happy and there's no better place than Atlético. It's a privilege to be at this club. I fulfilled my dream when I was 17 years old in my first professional game when I made my debut in the second division".
Round trip
The forward analysed his departure and return seven years later: "As an Atlético fan it was hard to leave the first time round but Atlético and I have evolved and won titles".
Torres recalled his special bond with the club: "Since I was a little boy, I've been an Atlético fan and I have very special feelings for this team. I have been with other teams but none like Atlético."
Possible future in Dubai
The striker also refused to rule out the idea of finishing his career in Dubai, which happens to be one of his children's favourite holiday destinations.
