James Rodriguez was presented with the 2014 Globe Soccer Newcomer Award at the awards ceremony. "It has been a really great year and I hope to go on to win everything now with Real Madrid" the Colombian said, who added that he was "confident" that 2015 would be equally as good for both himself and Real Madrid. "I'm very happy to receive this award," James enthused as he looked back on the best year of his career.
