Dusan Tadic fires Southampton to historic first win at Manchester United

Manchester United 0-1 Southampton: Tadic winner stuns Old Trafford

The Serb stroked in the rebound from a Graziano Pelle shot that struck the post to give the Saints a first league win away against the Red Devils for 17 years.

Dusan Tadic was the hero as Southampton claimed its first league victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford since 1988 and strengthened its position in the top four.

Tadic slotted in the rebound from a Graziano Pelle shot that struck the post on 69 minutes to give the Saints the lead in a game United had dominated.

The host rallied but was unable to muster a single shot on target for the entirety of the match, with Juan Mata missing two gilt-edged opportunities to secure them a point.

United's starting line-up was worth £274 million, but they did not manage one shot on goal throughout an eminently forgettable afternoon.
