Kyle Doherty: Footballer's body found in Manchester after new year's night out

A young footballer who disappeared while on a new year's night out in Manchester has been found dead.
Kyle Doherty, 19, who played for Stenhousemuir FC's youth team, was last seen at Suede nightclub in Longworth Street near Deansgate at about 13:35 GMT on New Year's Day.
Greater Manchester Police said the body of a 19-year-old man was found in the same street at about 22:00 GMT.
Officers believe he accidently fell from the roof of the Suede nightclub.
His body was discovered in a utility shaft or gap between two buildings, said police.

Stenhousemuir chairman Bill Darroch led the tributes to the teenager.
He the said the "entire club was in shock" and devastated by the news of his death.
He said in a statement on the club's website: "Kyle was a talented footballer and had been a part of Stenhousemuir Football Club since signing for us in July 2013.
"He had become a regular in our Under-20s team and was starting to break through into the first team squad."
Mr Darroch added that the teenager was well-liked and valued by his team mates and coaches and would be "sorely missed by all who knew him".
His team captain and head coach have also tweeted tributes to the player on the Stenhousemuir FC's Twitter account
