Nick Cannon claims Mariah Carey sold their nine million dollar Bel-Air mansion without involving him.
While the house was sold for almost four million dollars less than the original $12.995 million asking price, Nick is upset because he claims their business manager Michael Kane did not deal with him at all during the sale.
According to a new lawsuit, the documents of which have been obtained by TMZ, Nick claims he never authorised the sale and he only discovered it had gone through after everything was finalised.
TMZ further claims the lawsuit asks that the money from the house sale is frozen until he gets a detailed account of how the money will be divided.
Mr Kane told TMZ the lawsuit is 'frivolous and clearly a desperate act from a sadly desperate man'.
MailOnline has contacted Nick's lawyer for comment.
Nick filed for divorce from Mariah - the mother of his three-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe - in January after the pair lived apart for months.
Mariah and Nick purchased the three acre, seven bedroom and nine bathroom Colonial home for $7 million in 2009.
However, the former couple first tired to sell it for $12.995, having upgraded it considerably.

Ardavan Mofid of Coldwell Banker Previews International, who was the buyers' agent, told Forbes that when the new buyers first walked into the home, a Mariah Carey song was playing.
He added that they immediately fell in love with the house.
The property was once owned by Farrah Fawcett.
